Kader NGO Turkey

Karadeniz Eğitim ve Gençlik Dernegi (Black Sea Education and Youth Organisation ) is a non-profit organization registered in Erbaa / Turkey. Our number of members are 6 and 42 volunteers. We focus on rural and local development and environmental work, ecological and healthy systems. The main goal of the group is to continually investigate the different alternatives to achieve a sustainable culture, to take care of each other and enjoy what they do. The two main lines of work they follow are related, on the one hand, to sustainability and the natural balance (permacultura, bioconstruction, organic agriculture, and the proper use of water and other natural resources…) and, on the other hand, to human development (personal growth, emotional intelligence, active listening, inclusion, etc…). We organise seminars, workshops, conferences, courses, meetings, concerning these issues to educate youth and adult. All these activities are aimed, mainly, at multiplying agents, such as educators, organisations’ leaders, enterprises, trade unions, public administrators and those interested in outreach activities, in general.

KADER has an interdisciplinary approach and deals both with the cultural and social domain, and with non formal education. We are in close contact with local authorities in order to discover more young people who want to change something or top motivate other young people to participate in the social life. Its action is aimed to the well-being of people. KADER uses for its aims literature, education, biographical narratives The overall goal of the organization is to achieve and to engage in projects, partnerships, actions and activities that promote achieving the strategy in adult education, youth, innovation education, volunteering, sport and active European citizenship.
